Native to Europe, this herb grows as a twine. It has heart shaped leaves and the flowers are tubular in shape and a pale yellow in color.

Used in the form of a decoction externally for treating the symptoms of wounds, sores and leg ulcers.



Applications:

Decoction:
2 Tablespoons of fresh leaves or roots with 1 cup of water. Boil 10 minutes, strain and use as directed by physician.


Warnings:

This herb is poisonous and has been known to cause kidney failure and kidney carcinomas.

With any herb, there is the risk of an allergic reaction. Small children and pregnant women should use additional caution when considering the use of herbal remedies.
