SCIENTIFIC NAME:(Pyrus malus)
The Apple trees dark brown or gray bark is scaly with some lifted edges. The trees branches are slightly wooly with thorn-like tips. Its small, ovate, scalloped leaves are evenly spaced and the underside is a lighter color, usually gray or a fuzzy white. Pinkish-white, 5 petals, fragrant spring flowers produce yellow fruit that ripens by October when they are harvested as apples.

Uses:
Apple peels can be dried and made into a tea, recommended for rheumatism, regulates blood sugar in diabetes. Apples work as a laxative and aids in digestion.Applications:
Tea:
Dried apple peels boiled in water. Drink 1 to 2 cups a day. If using for a laxative drink 3 to 5 cups a day.
Warnings:
Large quantities of ingested apple seeds can be poisonous. Apples ingested in any form can act as a laxative.
