Soy is a plant in the pea family. The high-protein seeds, soybeans, contain isoflavons that are similar to the female hormone estrogen. Common in Asian diets for thousands of years it is now found in American diets as a food or food additive.

Take as directed on package.

Eating:
Soybeans can be cooked and eaten or used to make tofu, soy milk, and other foods.


Warnings:

Until more is learned about Soy’s effect on estrogen levels, women who have or who are at an increased risk of developing breast cancer, ovarian cancer or uterine cancer should use caution and discuss it with their doctor beforehand.
