Native to Africa, South Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, Aloe is cultivated in parts of the U.S. as ornamental plants for gardens and in homes. Aloe grows in a large rosette shape; its leaves like sabers are thick and fleshy. The tubular flowers grow in clusters on leafless stems and come in shades of yellow, white, pink, orange or red.

Applications:

Sap:
1 tbsp. up to 3 times a day.

Juice:
Drink 1 - 8 ounce glass everyday.


Warnings:

Pregnant women, children and the elderly should not take Aloe internally without a doctors supervision.

With any herb, there is the risk of an allergic reaction. Small children and pregnant women should use additional caution when considering the use of herbal remedies.
